Do you know all you need to know about blogging? How do you learn about blogging at your own pace? You have several options and they all come with their pros and cons.
One great way is to attend a seminar, conference or other training event
You pay some money, often a lot, and go somewhere for a day or more to learn about blogging or an aspect of blogging.
I attended the Affiliate Summit in New York in August 2009. Attending an event tailor made for the blogging industry is a great excuse for a tax-deductible holiday opportunity.
- For one day, or several, your mind is focused on learning as much as you can about something that can give you fame and/or fortune - if you understand and implement winning strategies.
- If you’re lucky, your presenters will know what they’re talking about and you get some really good handouts and resource materials (freebies, etc).
- If you have the time and the money to attend a learning event, the knowledge and networking is invaluable. I highly recommend you attend at least one major blogging industry event in your area – or travel :-)
