Scribe SEO = Simple SEO Copy by Brian Clark of Copyblogger

Scribe SEO is content optimization software designed to make your SEO copywriting even simpler. Just launched, Scribe SEO is a creation by Brian Clark and his team, co-owner of DIY Themes (the home of Thesis Theme) and face of Copyblogger.

Scribe SEO is perfect for web writers, bloggers, affiliate marketers and entrepreneurs.

Scribe works with WordPress if you’re able to fill in a custom title tag and meta description for the post or page.

Scribe was originally developed for the Thesis Theme for WordPress, but it also works with any WordPress Theme using the free All in One SEO plugin.

There is also a web version coming out in March 2010 – no need for WordPress to write your articles and check their SEO scores.

You can use Scribe with any WordPress theme if you have the free All in One SEO. plugin. You can download it here.

If you use Thesis Theme, Headway or Hybrid Themes - Scribe SEO will work in the WordPress dashboard without the All in One SEO Plugin because these themes have the capability hard wired to go already.

How Scribe Works

Scribe SEO is a service that provides evaluations of your pages, posts and other articles e.g. press releases, article marketing submissions.

With Scribe, you have two options – “analyze” the page for keyword prominence and SEO on-page best practices, and “review” so you can see the criteria you’ve already satisfied after the initial evaluation.

It comes in the form of a plugin that you add to your WordPress installation or as a stand alone web version due out in March. You get access to both versions for the one price.

Plugin version screenshots

Scribe then tells web writers of any kind how to tweak their content to get more search engine traffic, all while maintaining quality reader-focused copy.

Scribe Web Version – due out in March 2010…

You get a great web browser version with reports for Microsoft Word. The dashboard gives you a single screen (with pages) view of your evaluations (content you’ve run Scribe on).

You have 3 main tabs where you can see you content directly below the analysis – easier for making changes than the plugin version. This is the Content Analysis tab…

Then you have the Keyword Analysis

The web version also provides you with a Word document – Content Optimizer Report - that you can give to people who are paying for you to create their content – as proof that you are really writing SEO gold…

Exhibit D gives you the HTML for the article so you can just copy and paste into Word or any other publishing platform, e.g. Blogger, Dreamweaver, affiliate marketing campaigns, sales letters, article directories, etc.

Monthly Price

The Scribe SEO service has three different plans at 3 different monthly price points:

Starter: 30 evaluations a month (around 10 pages or posts) for $27

Publisher: 120 evaluations a month (around 40 pages or posts) for $47

Advanced: 300 evaluations a month (around 100 pages or posts) for $97

Take a FREE TEST DRIVE

You can try Scribe SEO for FREE without any obligation.

What’s going on with the number 27? Is the new lucky number?

First, the “Third Tribe” forum and its 27 dollars a month subscription and now this SEO tool…

Try 27! The new lucky number for your on-line scam venture!

I think Brian Clark really nailed it on the head by creating this tool. I haven’t bought it, but I’m expecting it a combination of several different free wordpress plugins like the all in one seo pack combined together – or am i totally wrong? I sure hope i am..

It is a one stop shop for getting your posts just right without needing to add several different plugins and without risking getting banned by Google and others.

Some plugins and web services that give you keyword analysis can get you banned from Google search results and/or AdSense and all other Google services related to your website.

Scribe SEO has a great offer at the moment. You get the largest package for the price of the smallest package – just $27 month including the new web based offering.

When we first launched Scribe, we had a great introductory offer – we gave people the Advanced Plan for the price of the Starter Plan.

At this point Scribe is even better, and your subscription includes the new web-based version along with the WordPress version. Plus you’ll also get the upcoming Drupal, Joomla, and Microsoft Word versions at no additional charge.

And… we’re bringing back that great initial offer.

So, you get 300 monthly evaluations (our largest Advanced Plan) NOT for $97 a month, but instead for only $27 a month, the price of our Starter Plan (which would be only 30 evaluations a month).

That’s a great deal, and here’s how to get it:
1. Go to Scribe SEO and log in with the username and password you chose when you signed up for the free test drive.
If you haven’t signed up for the free trial yet, do that first.
2. In the top navigation you’ll select “Change Plan,” or you can click on “View Your Upgrade Options” in the middle box next to the Current Subscription.
3. On the “Change Plan” page, select the Advanced plan (the last option) and click “Upgrade.”
4. In the Promo Code field on the next page, enter PROMO27
5. One you’ve completed your purchase, you’ll see you’ve been subscribed to the Advanced Plan for $27 per month (or $259 per year, a 20% savings off the monthly rate if you chose the annual plan) instead of $97 per month or $931 per year.
6. Pat yourself on the back for saving big bucks on Scribe. ;-)
Remember, the code PROMO27 is the key to the deal, so don’t forget to enter it. And don’t delay – we’ll be retiring that code in a week or so, at which point it won’t work anymore.
